I had such a great time photographing this little guy at 1st birthday party. Elliot’s mama is Korean and the family celebrated with a traditional Dol Party. Tons of family and friends came out to celebrate, eat, drink, and witness Elliott make his Doljabi choice. While his mama was hoping he might grab the baseball (the family are huge SF Giants fans), he chose a golf ball. This made his grandpa very, very happy.
I met this fun family on a cool, crisp morning in Glen Canyon Park. Little Micah really got into the photo shoot while baby sister, Noah, slept on the sidelines for much of the morning. Micah was sport enough to play a ‘Simon Says’ type of game with me so that I could get the shots I was aiming for. Thanks, Micah! Mama Sarah was radiant (even at 830 am!) and Papa Dan was adoring and sweet.
Little man, Hugo, was ready to moooooooove when we met. His mama and papa and I were keen on meandering our way through the grounds at the De Young and Academy of Sciences, but Hugo had places to go and things to see. So we tried our best to keep up with him! I imagine he feels the need to maximize his time before his baby brother joins the family next February?
These little beauties were pretty excited about their big day at St. Dominic’s Cathedral. Big Sister, Alexis, stayed poised through her entire ceremony but was ready to party once we got to the park for her celebration (with a jumpy house!!). Baby sister, Amber, was all about accessories. She tried on various Aunties’ bracelets and handbags throughout her ceremony and especially at her party when loads more Aunties and friends arrived (with fresh doses of handbags and jewelry). Congrats to these little angels!
This trio was so in love with each other! They were all smiles and snuggles! It was so enjoyable to document Mama, Gloria, and Papa, Magnus, with their 9-month old little boy, Isak. In addition to being terribly cute, Isak is on his way to be quite the multi-linguist: Mama speaks to him in Korean, Papa speaks to him in Swedish, and their nanny speaks Mandarin. Watch out world, Isak is here!
This crew was high-energy! Baby PJ and big sisters Natasha and Tatiana were ready for their close-ups from the moment we met. Papa Phil was all laughs and smiles and Mama Jeremy managed to keep this gaggle of girls happy and clean all morning and do so with grace.
This sweet family met me one recent morning in Golden Gate Park. Little ones, Miles and Bailey were all about the colorful flowers, hidden forest coves, and running amok amidst the big, open spaces. I had to work to keep up with them! Their Auntie and Uncle even tagged along to watch and laugh from the sidelines.
I was honored to photograph this soon-to-be mama, Jamaica and her husband, Nelson. Beyond the fact that these two are dear friends, it was fun to photograph them at this juncture since I photographed part of their Love Party/Wedding Celebration last year. Jamaica emanated the glowing, ethereal, perfectly-ripe-pregnant-lady light that was a joy to capture.
I had so much fun hanging out with these two. Through breakfast, teeth-brushing, impromptu ballet lessons, and a frolick at the nearby playground, big sister Kennedy and baby sister Billie were all smiles and little girl giggles.
I had a great time photographing this little family. They were so in love with each other! Mama Claire contacted me to photograph them in our lovely City by the Bay before they head back to England later this Fall. We took advantage of a vibrant, sunny morning to take family shots down at the Embarcadero.
