It was such a privilege to photograph this lovely couple on both of their wedding days. They took their first vows at City Hall and then a second set of family vows the following day at a lovely spot in the Presidio. These two are lucky to have one another and everyone who celebrated with them witnessed quite the lovefest. Congratulations and Mazal Tov Stephanie and Nick!

It was so nice to photograph this family again. I had the pleasure of meeting them out at Crissy Field last year, just days before baby Anna was born. And now she’s a whopping 7 months old! Big sister Nora and big brother Evan were cute and funny again this time. And these babes’ parents are just about the calmest parents of three little ones I’ve ever encountered! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves while I was there shooting… though maybe the little ones were just excited to get that promised ice cream treat afterwards.

This sweet mama and papa met their cute little red-headed baby bird, Connor, a mere three weeks ago – but they were as calm and cool as seasoned pros. Little Connor seemed to know he was in good hands. And I couldn’t get over how many expressions this baby was wearing! So much fun to photograph…

Welcoming Oliver

This little man made a big impression from the moment we met. At only three weeks old, baby Oliver had a steady, wise gaze and the relaxed manner of baby who knows he’s living the good life. Oliver’s mama and papa, looking pretty darn stunning for new parents, were appropriately doting over their precious little boy.

I met this sweet little family on a chilly (brrrr!) morning in Golden Gate Park. I think we were all expecting another glorious summery winter morning. But we made the best of it and little Miranda was a trooper, even though she was cold the whole time. Songs, snacks, and soft toys to the rescue! The silver lining to the weather was the beautiful misty light we had, with moments of warm sunshine popping through.

The Boy Hour

I recently met up with this fun extended family at the Palace of Fine Arts. The holidays brought grandparents, siblings, and cousins together in San Francisco so why not get some family photos taken? The stars of the event were the three little boys – Ian (2 years old) and his cousins, Elliot (18 months old) and Riley (8 years old). The boys definitely seemed to enjoy themselves during our shoot. By the end of it, little Ian exclaimed breathlessly, and through lots of giggling, that he “needed to take a break”. I have to give credit to big brother Riley for serving as my assistant – he rocked it! Anytime you wanna work together again, Riley, give me a call.

Double Delight!

I had fun photographing these two little guys – Max and Kennedy! This was my first experience photographing identical twins and it was an exiting new endeavor to be sure. Between these guys being 2.5 years old and there between 2 of them, I had my work cut out for me in getting well-composed and memorable family photographs! But these little boys were so sweet and playful, I think we captured some really sweet family moments.

This mama and papa have a couple of the sweetest, cutest boys in town! At 5 1/2, little man Mason seems to have a grand future in engineering (and maybe business?). In his room, he had an impressive array of things he’s built out of legos and other materials. And he showed off his current project of building a (minature) dual furniture and tree store. He even rattled off how much he plans to charge for the items he’ll be selling. What a cutie! And on top of this, he was a fantastic and loving big brother to baby Griffin, 4 months old. Griffin reciprocated with lots of eye gazing and smiles.

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family, dear friends of mine, for the second time this year. I photographed these three when little man, Bowie, was 6 months old… and he just turned 1! What a year it has been! Bowie also happens to be buddies with my son, Julian, so photographing him with his mama and papa was a special treat.

Cole, 2, was a little ball of fire on the crisp Saturday morning we met. He was super fun to chase around and photograph, though he worked his mama and papa during our shoot! At any rate, I love the sweet family photos we captured that morning.
