Dating Portrait Session

$1200

  • 90-minute shoot at 1-3 locations

  • 2-3 outfit changes or looks, with guidance from me

  • 60+ tightly curated, hand-edited images from set w/ high-res download

  • All sessions include pre-shoot communication and a detailed prep guide to help you feel ready for your shoot date.

  • A $300 deposit is required when you reserve your date, with the remaining balance paid on/by your scheduled session date.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You’ve likely put off having photos made because you hate being in front of the camera. The good news is I consider half my job is making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Nearly all of my portrait clients have felt the same way you do and they all report their session experience feeling easy and, dare I say, fun.

  • If you’re revamping, upleveling, or creating a new online dating and you want compelling, flattering portraits that don’t look overly staged or Photoshopped, you’re a good fit.

  • Portrait sessions are collaborative experiences between you and me. We talk through your hobbies and interests, your background, your assets and the things you might feel self-conscious about. We create a plan for making a set of images that captures as many facets of you as we can in the short amount of time we have together on your shoot day.

  • I don’t but I can wholeheartedly recommend the amazing services of my friend Blaine Anderson, who is a professional matchmaker. So many of my dating photo clients have also used Blaine’s services. She’s the real deal!

  • Most portrait sessions happen outdoors, so we shoot when the ligh is most flattering - early morning or late afternoon. You can read mor about how the timeof day impacts light here.

  • Yes! I give you guidance on what types of outfits photograph best, and link you a Pinterest board that has style examples. In addition, I provide personalized feedback on outfits before we meet so you can feel confident that your clothig will photograph well.

  • When you schedule a session, I send you a booking form with a contract and request for your deposit. All bookings require a $300 deposit to be confirmed. Once confirmed, I send you a prep guide, questionnaire, and we start planning your shoot - including location, outfis, and your priorities for the session.

  • I tell folks it will take 1-2 weeks but about 95% of the time, I’m able to get your images to you within 1 week. All the images in your gallery will be lovingly edited to enhance color, light, shadow, and skin tones.
