Family Adventure Sessions

$1600 weekdays, $1750 weekends

  • 2-hour shoot at home and/or outdoor location in Bay Area

  • 130+ hand-edited best images from set w/ high-res download

  • $300 deposit due at booking, with balance paid on shoot date.

Adventure-Based Fun

If your family has hobbies or routines that you want captured, these sessions are perfect. Don’t let the word ‘adventure’ scare you off - family adventuring can be as simple as baking cookies at home or jumping in the pool.

Anything Goes

Adventure sessions can happen on a trail, in the water, in your kitchen, or out and about town. You decide what feels like a family adventure and we make it one. Weird, wild, and messy are welcome!

Authentic Moments

Two hours of shooting time might feel like a lot but I’ve found it’s the perfect amount of time for you to be fully present with your family, without feeling rushed to get specific shots. This is true regardless of your kid’s age.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Session start time varies depending on where we shoot and the age of your kiddos. In general, outdoor shooting happens early morning or late afternoon, and indoor shooting can happen anytime.

  • You can choose your preferred date and time and use the BOOK NOW button to the left to schedule yourself. Once scheduled, I send you a booking form with a request for your deposit. All bookings require a $300 deposit to be confirmed.

  • Once your booking is confirmed, I provide you with a thorough prep guide, including tips on what to wear. In addition, we stay in contact via email and text so you arrive at your session knowing what to expect.

  • I tell families it will take 1-2 weeks but about 95% of the time, I’m able to get your images to you within 1 week. All the images in your gallery will be lovingly edited to enhance color, light, shadow, and skin tones.

Travel Fees

  • Locations farther than 20 miles from central Berkeley will be charged a travel fee.

  • Travel fees are based on round-trip mileage from Berkeley, calculated at $1/mile + tolls.
