One-on-One Photography Mentoring

Running a small business offering your creative talent can be especially challenging as you work through the tangles of boundaries, best practices, and creating with integrity.

Running a small business is hard.

I started my photography business in 2011 with some technical skills in photography but almost no idea about how to run a business. In the 13 years since, I’ve evolved how I run my business and how I approach my art over and over again. I’ve learned so much along the way about what works, what doesn’t work, and how to know if your business practices are sustainable.

How Are One-on-One Mentorship Sessions Structured?

part One

You complete a pre-meeting questionnaire to highlight your top mentoring priorities.

part two

We meet for 90-minutes in-person (locals) or via video call and I give guidance on your prioritized mentoring goals. You receive homework assignments to get you moving toward your prioritized goals.

part three

We have a 30-min accountability check-in via video or by phone 2-4 weeks later to see where you’re at.
