Interior Design Spotlight: Clarice Annegers Design

How can I accurately describe the full-on dream room that was this living room project for Clarice Annegers Design? I can tell you about the soothing peachy orange tones with natural wood accents. I can tell you about the jaw-dropping custom sofa with curves that made me want to sprawl on it like a 1940’s pin-up girl. I can tell about the three walls of windows that fill the room with gorgeous light. I can tell you about the bespoke silk rug with raw edges and tassels (it was like nothing I have ever seen). I can tell you about how each little vignette in the room creates a slightly different feeling, but together they all synchronize and create the most calming feeling. But really, my words don’t really paint a descriptive enough picture so the photos below will have to do.

Non-sequitur sidenote: Clarice of Clarice Annegers Design is someone I have known since we were 16 years old. We used to pal around in our hometown if Houston, TX back in the early 90s. I’ll spare you stories of all the dumb stuff we did but after graduating high school, we ended up in different cities for college and slowly lost touch. Fast forward to 2011, I’m in a mama+baby yoga class in the Mission and I hear “Allison???!!!”. We hadn’t seen or talked to each other in about 15 years but we happened to both land in San Francisco and both had baby boys in 2010. Then fast-forward another 10 years and Clarice is a talented interior designer and I start offering brand photography sessions to artists and designers and the rest is history. The world is weird. ;)
